Slick Woods, the model who walked in Rihanna‘s NYFW Savage x Fenty lingerie show the other night – the model who then gave birth to life after the show – has revealed she was actually in labour while modelling the lingerie.

Initial reports by TMZ said Woods went into labour as the model walked backstage. Paramedics then arrived and Woods was taken to the nearest hospital.
Now, Woods has confirmed she is one almighty woman to professionally walk a catwalk in heels while, I assume, feeling contractions.
In a fierce Instagram post following her son’s birth, Woods revealed she had been in labour for 14 hours before giving birth to little Saphir, the 22-year-old’s first child with partner and musician Adonis Bosso.
The full caption reads:
A lewk, 14 hours of labour, and A king is born. This is the face of a WOMAN IN LABOUR, we hold shit down most of us don’t even know how much we’re going through, I’m here to say I CAN DO WHATEVER THE FUCK I WANT WHENEVER THE FUCK I WANT AND SO CAN YOU.

The show, which honoured bodies of every shape and colour was described by Rihanna as a “celebration of womanhood”.
Rihanna told Getty Fashion:
“It is mixing the really organic, authentic things of the world and meshing it with what we see in the future or what we hope to see in the future: Women being celebrated in all forms and all body types and all races and all cultures. It’s a celebration of womanhood.”
