SOMEBODY BLESS SIA.
The powerhouse singer-songwriter just leaked her own nude to Twitter. This is basically unheard of. She got wind that someone was trying to sell her naked pic and decided to fuck ’em right over by releasing it herself. That person’s picture? Now essentially worthless.
“Somebody is apparently trying to sell naked photos of me to my fans,” she wrote on Twitter. “Save your money, here it is for free. Everyday is Christmas!”
(We’d get banned by the Facebook overlords if we posted this pic straight to FB, but the Twitter ones are a little more slack when it comes to nudity.)

Obtaining someone’s nudes and threatening with them with the publication of them is absolute scum, but Sia’s response is cool as hell. (It’s worth remembering that, if you are in a similar situation, celebrities may be slightly more immune to backlash in situations like like than the rest of us. Maybe that seems super obvious, but it’s also good to keep in mind if you ever find yourself in a similar situation. If you do, the eSafety Commissioner is a great resource to find out what to do next.) STILL – may we all approach our problems with Sia’s level of badassery, emphasis on the assery.
