Shia LaBeouf Hits Peak Shia With Four Year-Long Anti-Trump Livestream

Puckish performance art entity and Holes star Shia LaBeouf has taken his live-streaming game to the next level, launching a four year-long live camera feed in protest of Donald Trump
He Will Not Divide Us launched at 9am local time on inauguration day outside the Museum of the Moving Image in Queens, New York, and will reportedly run for the next four years, the length of Trump’s first term.
Visitors are invited to stand in front of the camera and chant the mantra “he will not divide us”, a flawless plan with which nothing could possibly go wrong and no unexpected fuck-up could occur.
We’ve been monitoring the live-stream throughout the morning and have so far caught a few participants and curious TV news crews, but you can check out the action for yourself right here.
This is not Shia’s first live-streaming project – in 2015, he set up a feed that showed him watching his own movies, and he later streamed 24 hours of himself in an elevator in Oxford.
While a cynical person might say that a live camera outside a New York art museum will do little to touch the hearts and minds of middle-American voters who turned out for Trump, I guess we’ll wait and see.
