Shawn Mendes, one half of [checks notes] Shawmila, has shared a slew of snaps from Rottnest Island featuring a very cute quokka.

Shawn visited the slice of heaven ahead of his Australian tour, joining the endless list of celebrities that do the rite of passage including Chris Hemsworth, Margot Robbie, and Roger Federer.
“I met a Quokka!!!” Shawn captioned the social media post from over the weekend.

After eons of endless flirting and paparazzi snaps, Shawn and Camila all but confirmed their relationship after their steamy as hell performance at the 2019 VMAs. Not to mention that time they played tonsil tennis and posted the video on IG for the chuckles. (the viral vid has since been deleted, bummer)
The pair first sparked dating rumours after releasing their song “Señorita”, followed by its absolute thirst trap of a music video.
“We’re pretty happy — I really, really love him a lot,” Camila told Capital Breakfast radio show earlier this month.
She also recently binned rumours the pair had broken up. On her IG story of a ~ rumour ~ yarn claiming the pair had split, Camila wrote, “Well when THE FUCK were you gonna tell me @shawnmendes” and that’s that.
Shawn is set to play at the RAC Arena in Perth on Wednesday, 23 October. Afterwards, he heads to Adelaide’s Entertainment Centre on Saturday, 26 October, followed by stints in Melbourne, Sydney, and Queensland.
