The world is up in arms about the unlawful mistreatment of Head Bitch In Charge Sharpay Evans, after student @emilycatnio‘s PowerPoint defending the High School Musical queen went viral. This has obviously inspired a rebirth of appreciation for Ms Evans and established a new wave of Sharpay stans. It’s about bloody time, I say.

The student titled the PowerPoint “How Sharpay Evans was Bopped from the Top” and was presented in front of her English class. We simply have no choice but to admire.
i really made a whole powerpoint and presented it in front of my freshman college english class on why sharpay was NOT the antagonist of the high school musical trilogies and i think that is the most performing arts major thing i could possibly do pic.twitter.com/peepYaIOSF

Here are some highlights from the presentation, in no particular order.
On the callbacks: “Mrs. Darbus is a clout chaser and casts popularity over talent”.
On her inherently caring ways: “She truly cares a lot about Troy. She was helping his future and her only wish was to sing a duet with him.”
On her winning attitude: “Although Sharpay didn’t get the lead, she did get Gabriella’s understudy and she even told her to “break a leg.””
I’m CACKLING. Emily, you legend.
The viral tweet has since spawned a new wave of Sharpay appreciation, all stemming down to the fact that she was unapologetically herself, took no prisoners and was ultimately chastised purely because she was ambitious and knew what she wanted without a man. Long story short, bitches tried to dim her light because she was shining too hard, so she shone even brighter.
