Seth Rogen And Zac Efron Are Reuniting In ‘Bad Neighbours 2’

Last year’s crude comedy Bad Neighbours, starring husky man-bear Seth Rogen and twink gone wild Zac Efronmade around US $270M on a budget of US $18M, otherwise known as a batshit fucking crazy amount of money.
With that kind of return on investment, a sequel was pretty much guaranteed, and now, surprise surprise, one has been rushed into production, with a release date of May 13, 2016, already penciled in for the US.
Though Bad Neighbours wrapped up its story at the end of the film, the sequel will presumably find a way to bring Rogen’s suburban schlub and Efron’s ab-tastic frat boy back together against some sort of common enemy.
Either that, or the whole film will just be 90 minutes of Efron flexing his rig in one place while Rogen smokes bowls and makes wisecracks in another, a spectacle we’d borderline be okay with watching.
The film will be directed by Nicholas Stoller, whose credits include the first film, alongside Forgetting Sarah Marshall and The Five-Year Engagement. Rose Byrne has clearly found time in her busy X-Men schedule, and will also return.
It’s a busy year for Rogen, who has a role alongside Michael Fassbender and Kate Winslet in the upcoming Steve Jobs, and joins the likes of Kristen Wiig and James Franco in the animated Sausage Party.
He also has an as-yet untitled Christmas Eve movie coming out in November, with Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Anthony Mackie, Lizzy Caplan and Gillian Bell set to co-star.
