SHADE: Selena Gomez Says Kissing Dylan Sprouse Was “One Of The Worst Days Of My Life”

Selena Gomez just called her on-screen kiss with Dylan Sprouse “one of the worst days of [her] life” and holy shit, this tea is STEAMING.

On her recent appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Gomez revealed that her first kiss (ever) was with none other than fellow Disney Channel alum Dylan Sprouse. But while she was snogging the man of my 12-year-old dreams, she was actually having a really bad time.

It turns out Selena had a wee crush on his brother, Riverdale star Cole Sprouse, so she wasn’t too keen on kissing his brother. Smart move, Selena.

“I was in love with Cole Sprouse…I was obsessed with that show [The Suite Life of Zack and Cody] and I thought we were going to be together one day,” she told Kelly Clarkson.

“Then I guest-starred on the show, but I kissed his brother and I didn’t get to kiss Cole…It was my first kiss—on-camera! It was one of the worst days of my life!”

For starters, Dylan Sprouse was absolutely the hotter twin growing up. Even as 10-year-olds, we already stanned that fuckboy/bad boy energy. Not to mention, they’re bloody identical twins. They look the same.

Her crush on Cole Sprouse is far from new information, with Selena sharing a throwback about her 11-year-old crush on Instagram late last year. But damn Selena, did we need to throw this much shade at poor Dylan?

Personally, I’d be happy with either Sprouse brother. But I guess when you’re Selena Gomez (one of the most followed people on Instagram), you can be a little picky with your Sprouse brother choice.

In addition to the fact that he wasn’t her preferred Sprouse brother, Selena has also revealed to Twist Magazine that the kiss itself was an awkward mess.

“I actually leaned in to kiss him, and I had my eyes closed a little too early and I ended up missing like half of his lip. It ended up being the most awkward kiss in the world. But I was 12 so it was okay and it was good.”

First kisses are always awkward as fuck, but at least we can all seek comfort in the fact that it was just as cringe-worthy between Selena and Dylan as it was between you and your crush from maths class.
