SBS Comedy Unveils A Parody ‘Game Of Thrones’ Web Series

Capitalising on our current Game Of Thrones fever cured only by weekly doses of soul destroying character deaths, CGI dragons and gratuitous side-boob, SBS Comedy has announced the launch of its first commissioned comedy series, SBS Does Game of Thrones, an online sketch comedy series which parodies key moments from the cult HBO TV show.

Tell me more. Directed by Andrew Garrick and produced by Sydney comedian Dan Illic, the sketches are written and performed by a group of emerging Sydney comedians from Project 52 and sketch show Make Way for Ducklings who first debuted the material in a live performance called Make Way for Winter.
If you didn’t catch that performance, here’s an unseemly first taste called Ramsay’s Penis Box.
Oh yes. Dick jokes are coming.

SBS Comedy was launched in March and features a variety of comedy content and serves primarily as a launching pad for new Australian comedy talent. Check it out at www.sbs.com.au/comedy
Game Of Thrones returns tonight!
