WATCH: Carrie Bradshaw Is Back & She’s Still Getting Splashed By Buses, FFS

As I began this article for you, our faithful readers and devoted Sarah Jessica Parker lovers, I couldn’t help but wonder: isn’t diluted Sex & The City better than no Sex & The City at all?

SJP slipped back into Carrie Bradshaw‘s stylin’ shoes to recreate the SATC opening sequence for a good cause.

The beloved actress partnered with beer brand Stella Artois and Matt Damon‘s non-profit organisation Water.org, which provides access to clean water to communities across the world.

In the 15-second video, Parker wears a v. Carrie Bradshaw-approved lewk including a metallic gold cropped button-down shirt with a black belt, bejeweled gloves and a baby blue tulle skirt, which I’m guessing was a nod to the tutu she wore in the OG scene.

“I couldn’t help but wonder … wasn’t it obvious?” Parker says, adding: “You make a little change to do a lot of good.”

A bus drives past and splashes Bradshaw, just like in the original, only this time the poster on the side of the vehicle reads “1 bottle = 1 month of clean water,” rather than “Carrie Bradshaw knows good sex.”

“It was peculiar in a way, but really, really fun and joyful,” Parker told PEOPLE exclusively of shooting the ad. “It was sort of like time stood still for a second and this alternate universe of that life was presented again.”

Matt Damon cofounded Water.org with Gary White in 2009 in an effort to bring water and sanitation to the world. The actor recently appeared in an ad highlighting the importance of his organisation’s work.

“What if I told you it is this easy to help change someone’s life?” the Oscar winner asks, gesturing at a full glass of Stella. “Thanks to Stella Artois’ partnership with us at Water.org, one pour can do exactly that by helping provide access to clean water for someone living without it.”
