RZA Accuses Azealia Banks Of Lying About Bizarre Russell Crowe Hotel Brawl

Hoooooooo boy.
After the report earlier this week that Azealia Banks reported Aussie actor Russell Crowe to the Los Angeles Police Department because he booted her out of a party, everyone’s been fairly bloody confused.
Russell claims he had to forcibly remove Banks from a small party in his hotel room after she went on a violent tirade, telling Crowe and another woman: “You would love it if I broke my glass, stabbed you guys in the throat, and blood would squirt everywhere like some real Tarantino shit.”
She then allegedly cocked her arm back while holding a glass as if she was about to attack someone with it, and it was allegedly at this point he picked her up in ‘a bear hug’ and carried her out of the room, while guests called hotel security.
On the other hand, Azealia filed a report of battery against Crowe and gave an extremely detailed rundown of the evening’s events to The Sun, telling them after a minor disagreement Crowe let loose on her:
“He calls me a n*****, and then grabs me, picks me up, he chokes me by the throat, picks me up, throws me out of the room and then spits on me.”
And look, this has been very ‘she said – he said‘; both Banks and Crowe have colourful histories of anger issues and temper control.
However, actor and former Wu-Tang Clan leader RZA has finally broken his silence with a lengthy post to his official Facebook page.
Azealia Banks was brought to the party by RZA himself, and he says that he feels “embarrassed” about the events that unfolded.
BUT, he backed Crowe‘s side of the story; he says the actor never called Banks a racial slur and that it was her who lost control:

“There was nothing funny about her behaviour. I felt a little embarrassed because she was my guest.

Still verbal abuse can be tolerated but when it goes physical…

Azealia threaten to cut a girl in the face with a glass, then actually grabs a glass and physically attacks for no logical reason.

[…] THIS IS NOT A RACE OR GENDER ISSUE. I did not hear Russell call her a N::gg:::: [sic].”
