Deadpool 2 is pretty much exactly what we’d hoped for, a raucous action comedy loaded with bloody violence and winking celebrity cameos, but according to its star Ryan Reynolds, there’s at least one famous face we’ve all failed to identify so far.

The internet has spent the past several days picking out Deadpool 2 cameos, and the big daddy of them all is of course Brad Pitt, who appears for a matter of seconds as ill-fated X-Force team member The Vanisher, as he’s electrocuted on some power lines.
A room full of X-Men can also be seen as the title character rants about how he never gets any of the good mutants in his movies, with Professor X, Cyclops, Quicksilver and various others looking on before Beast quietly closes the door.
Speaking of mutants, Hugh Jackman‘s Wolverine also shows up in flashback form, in a callback to the misbegotten X-Men Origins: Wolverine, but it appears they CGI’d him in and he didn’t actually shoot any new footage for the role.
Ryan Reynolds plays himself in a winking end-credits cameo while Matt Damon and Alan Tudyk make a brief appearance as a rednecks drinking on the flatbed of a truck before Josh Brolin‘s Cable shows up and dispatches them.
Those are all the ones that the internet has spotted, but in his Tweet this morning, Reynolds suggested that there’s at least one more.
There’s a chance he might be talking about Matt Damon, as the article he Tweeted out doesn’t mention that one, even though others have, but I wouldn’t put it past Deadpool 2 to be hiding another celebrity cameo entirely.
Either way, this is a pretty good marketing strategy for the film, as a whole lot of people have already seen it (a record-breaking number for a R-Rated film, in fact), and at least some of those will probably now go back to see if they can spot the hidden celebrity.
