Call me cynical, but any time I hear news someone from Married At First Sight Australia is doing anything these days besides being a normal person like the rest of us in a 9-5 job I am extreeeemely skeptical. Like news that Ryan Gallagher is apparently dating Sophie Monk.
The spicy rumour comes via YahooBe, who say an insider spilt the goss to them.
“He said to me that he’s been dating Sophie Monk and that they’re official,” they said. “They talk for hours on the phone.”
Apparently the pair were set up by none other than Jackie O, radio host co-star alongside Kyle Sandilands. Jackie and Ryan deffo hang sometimes so this isn’t an entirely ridiculous statement.
“I asked him, ‘It must be great having all this female attention,’ and he responded with ‘I’m taken now,” the insider continued.
Ryan’s been extreeeemely chatty about his crush on the Love Island Australia host in the past.
“My ideal girl is Sophie Monk,” he told The Fix last year. “I love a girl that’s just herself and who doesn’t have to wear makeup all the time.”
Sadly for Ryan or this insider or whoever is saying this stuff, Sophie’s reps have already shut down the rumour with a statement to YahooBe.
“She isn’t dating anyone,” they said, probably crushing Ryan’s heart like a ripe mandarin.
