Russell Crowe and his wife of nine years Danielle Spencer have amicably separated, according to reports. Apparently the reason for the separation is Russell’s increasingly busy filming and press schedule that has kept him away from the family.
The actor does currently have a lot of projects on the go, with Darren Aronofsky’s Noah, RZA’s The Man With The Iron Fists, an Eli Roth vampire movie Harker in the works, and a biopic on comedian Bill Hicks which Russell is directing.
The couple who have two little boys Charlie and Tennyson are yet to release an official statement confirming the reports, but after the incomprehensible Amy Poehler and Will Arnett divorce, no Hollywood breakup can surprise me anymore – regardless of how solid the couple seem. F*ck you, love…
