‘RuPaul’ Queens Did A Live Read Of ‘Spice World’ & The FOMO Is Real

As part of the 2018 Comedy Central Clusterfest, a couple of our fave RuPaul Queens took to the stage to do a live reading of Spice World – the iconic musical comedy from 1998 – for it’s 20th anniversary.

Clusterfest called San Francisco home for the second consecutive year running and took over the city from June 1-3.

Since America’s a day behind, the festival’s still a go and there are a huge amount of acts performing. These range from your dark comedies, to your spectacular musical acts, and your purely delightful performances which very much includes a live reading of Spice World.

Despite some of them having their own individual shows to absolutely smash, a couple of queens from RuPaul’s Drag Race came together on Saturday to do the live reading of Spice World.

And they were all dressed up as their nominated Spice Girl too.

Jinkx Monsoon was Ginger Spice, Alaska Thunderfuck channelled her inner Posh Spice, Manila Luzon was Sporty Spice, and amazing singer Honey Mahogany was Scary Spice. San Francisco’s local royalty D’Arcy Drollinger played Baby Spice.

Bianca Del Rio also lent her talents as narrator before she hopped on the main stage – literally named Colossal Stage – for her own individual show.

But really, the festival’s huge with talent like Jon Stewart, Trevor Noah, The Lonely Island, Tiffany Haddish, and Amy Schumer just to name a few of the acts packed into three days.

Of course fans were there and of course we’ve tracked down videos – keep clicking next for the goodies.

Warning: Major FOMO alert.

Not even lip-syncing.

In other very exciting news, there is reportedly going to be an animated Spice Girls superhero flick in the near future. Just think animated versions of your fave Spice Girls with powers unique to their personalities. The superheroes will also be voiced by the actual girl band members so there’s much to love about this fierce movie.
