Royal Wedding Reception Reportedly Had “Naughty” Speeches, Digs At The Yanks

Alleged details of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding reception have started trickling out, revealing a loving, cheeky, and emotional night which also featured James Corden.

The Sunday Times cites a source at the St George’s Hall afternoon ceremony, who claims the Prince told some 600 special guests that Markle “navigated everything with such grace” – an apparent reference to the turmoil in certain corners of her family in the lead-up to the wedding.

Harry’s father Prince Charles reportedly spoke about changing Harry’s nappy as a tyke, adding that “my darling old Harry” has “turned out well.”

Later, at the smaller Frogmore House evening reception, Harry reportedly delivered an improvised speech, in which he promised the British folks present that the Americans wouldn’t steal the swords.

It’s also claimed he asked guests to leave the premises quietly as to not wake the neighbours.

The Daily Mail states Prince William issued a “naughty” speech on the evening, but that more direct references to Harry’s, uh, wilder years were left unspoken until older guests had departed.

Elton John, one of the select few present at the event, reportedly hopped on the keys after Harry jokily asked “can any one here play the piano?”

It’s also reported the gang danced to a slew of house tracks. As you do.

And yes, James Corden was reportedly on deck as an MC throughout the evening, as guests chowed down on burgs and fairy floss.

Good on ’em.
