Roseanne Screaming “I Thought The Bitch Was White” Is A Lot To Take In

Comedian Roseanne Barr, whose revived sitcom was cancelled after her now-infamous Tweet about Valerie Jarrett, has defended herself in a bizarre video, which she posted to her personal YouTube channel late last week.

The 65-year-old was cut loose by the US ABC network after a racially-charged Tweet in which she referred to former Barack Obama advisor Jarrett as “Planet Of The Apes“, but maintains that she was misunderstood.

The brief video shows her arguing with a producer (understood to be her son) about the editing of a previous video while gesturing wildly with a cigarette. As the two bicker about jump cuts and clothing changes, Roseanne screams:

“I’m trying to talk about Iran! I’m trying to talk about Valerie Jarrett about the Iran deal. That’s what my tweet was about. I thought the bitch was white! Goddammit, I thought the bitch was white. Fuck!”

You can see the exchange below:

A short time later, the former sitcom star posted a more composed video in which she claimed that she was fired by ABC because she voted for Donald Trump.

Amongst other wild content, Roseanne’s reinvigorated YouTube channel also includes a heap of videos about cooking French toast, and a tutorial for women who wish to learn how to pee standing up, entitled ‘Tips from the Domestic Goddess‘:
