Robert Pattinson, Cate Blanchett To Attend Sydney Film Festival

All your dreams have come true.

We’ve already detailed the impending cinematic riches of the impressive, deep and eclectic lineup of work screening at this year’s Sydney Film Festival but there’s just as much great stuff (read: people) happening off the screen.
For instance, Robert Pattinson is happening. Yep. Your imaginary actor boyfriend and proprietor of the most incandescent torso in Hollywood will join The Rover co-star Guy Pearce and writer-director David Michod to attend the film’s Australian premiere June 7th at the State Theatre. You might want to bring earplugs for that.

That triumvirate will then team up with producer Liz Watts (Animal Kingdom, Lore) to speak as part of Vivid Ideas, presumably to discuss filmmaking.

If that’s not enough star power level 99 human being Cate Blanchett will descend from her cloud to gaze upon dishevelled 5’s (from a safe distance) to introduce the Australian premiere of DreamWorks’s How to Train Your Dragon 2.

The Sydney Film Festival runs from June 4th until the 15th.
