There must be something in the water down here in Australia, because there’s big hot rumours that Rita Ora and Taika Waititi have shacked up over the last month or so. I’m screaming. I am screaming.
Whispers the duo have been seeing each other ramped up last week when Rita posted a photo with Taika on her Instagram, buried in a mid-week update photo dump. I mean this looks pretty cosy if you ask me.
They’re both in Australia filming their own things at the moment – Taika is here directing the next big Marvel film, Thor: Love And Thunder, while Rita is shooting the next season of The Voice Australia. And apparently in their downtime they’ve found time for each other, which is very sweet and extremely rude when I am sitting RIGHT HERE.
Whatever, it’s fine. It’s fine.
Apparently Taika met Rita when they were both at Chris Hemsworth‘s assistant’s big birthday bash in Sydney back in March, as tipped off by Idris Elba‘s wife, Sabrina, on her Instagram.
Looking at these pics now knowing what I know from those Deux Moi drops, they both look very comfortable with each other. It brings a whole new energy to this and I swear to god if their meet-cute was in bloody Sydney I, regretfully and with a broken heart, have no choice but to stan.
Now to keep my eyes peeled for literally any chance Rita Ora and Taika Waititi might sneak off for a cute getaway together down the coast to my own hometown of Ulladulla, as is tradition for literally any celebs spending a good while in Sydney.
