Rihanna Finally Claps Back To That Viral & Deeply Unfunny Body-Shaming Piece

Clapback queen Rihanna has responded to widely-panned article on Barstool Sports about her weight with none other than a Gucci Mane meme.

The piece – which has since been deleted, and can only be read via webcache – was titled ‘Is Rihanna Going To Make Being Fat The Hot New Trend?‘, and included such thrilling commentary on the subject of RiRi’s weight like:

“A world of ladies shaped like the Hindenburg loaded into one-piece bathing suits may be on the horizon now that Rihanna is traipsing around out there looking like she’s in a sumo suit.”

and:

“But it looks to me like Rihanna is rocking some new high key thiccness. And based on what I’ve seen, that means it’s time to worry if you’re not a guy who fancies himself a chubby chaser. In a lot of ways, Rihanna is one of the biggest influencers in female culture. Think about some of the things she’s lead the mainstream pop culture charge on in the last few years. Nip piercings: Rihanna. Relentless thottiness on social media or public persona: Rihanna. ”

and also:

“It’s a dangerous precedent and you may want to start adjusting your porn browsing to primarily BBW porn to condition yourself to this dystopian future we now face.”

The now-suspended writer Chris Spags ended his piece with pictures of Rihanna from her skinnier days to soothe his neckbeard readers back into a comatose state of arousal.

Eventually, the backlash reached a point where Barstool founder David Portnoy removed the piece and issued a statement about it, saying it wasn’t that bad but “it wasn’t funny either”.

Anyway, here’s Rihanna’s official response:
