Reese Witherspoon Has Three Legs On The Cover Of ‘Vanity Fair’ And Oh Yikes

Vanity Fair has earned itself a place in the Photoshop screw-up hall of fame, and somebody is definitely getting fired, after its annual Hollywood issue went out featuring a three-legged Reese Witherspoon on the cover.

The Big Little Lies star appeared alongside big Hollywood names like OprahNicole KidmanJessica ChastainGal GadotHarrison Ford and Michael B Jordan, but you might say she has a … leg up on the competition.

Here’s the panel in question:

If you look at the split in Witherspoon’s dress, there certainly appear to be two legs there, one crossed over the other, and a third one just sort of planted in the middle, resolutely, like some sort of support beam keeping her from falling into Oprah.

Readers quickly noticed the error, and it wasn’t long before someone told Reese Witherspoon, who fortunately seems to find the whole thing amusing. “Well … I guess everybody knows now … I have three legs,” she wrote. “I hope you can still accept me for who I am.”

Worse still, in another image from the shoot, a Twitter user noticed that Vanity Fair had somehow managed to give Oprah three hands.

If you look closely in the bottom image, one’s on her hip, one’s sitting on her leg, and a third, rogue hand appears around Reese Witherspoon’s waist.

The talk show queen herself noticed, and replied to Witherspoon “I accept your third leg, as I know you accept my third hand.” YIKES. Somebody is definitely getting fired for this one.

Last October, Chris Hemsworth and Cate Blanchett shared the cover of Vogue Australia, although if the Photoshop job there was any indication, they may have been frolicking in completely different pools on completely different days.
