Rebel Wilson Nominated For Two MTV Movie Awards In The Show She’s Hosting For MTV

Oscar who? Academy Awhaats? MTV has today announced their nominees for The 2013 MTV Movie Awards – Cinema’s actual night of nights (April 14th) and popcorn and staying up late waaaay after Mum tells you “Lights off, NOW!” but you stay up anyway watching OMG scary as s**t movies with lots of shirtless kissing and WTF’s because you are a #youth.

The hosting duties at 2013’s Most Regal Ceremony (besides the joint births of babies both Kathy Middleton and KimyE!) fall on the shoulders of Australia’s delegate to Funny, Rebel Wilson, who is [coincidentally?] also nominated for two and a half awards, including Best Female Performance, Best Breakthrough Performance and Best Musical Moment. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, or that it’s unheard of. It’s just a neat thing that happened is all.
To any who cry foul, we say nepotism schmepotism, Wilson deserves a little statuette of gilded popcorn – the Golden Fleece of entertainment industry awards [extremely desirable, difficult to attain; shorn from a golden ram, guarded by an unsleeping dragon].
