Though she was on short odds to take out the 2009 tiara, Rachael Finch was unable to repeat Jennifer Hawkins’ 2004 win at this year’s Miss Universe Pageant. Instead the 21 year old Townsville Model was crowned third runner-up placing behind Miss Kosovo, Miss Dominican Republic and for the second year in a row – a winning Miss Venezuela.
We wish we gave a shit about these things but our view of pageants has forever been tainted by this. So instead of gauging who has the fakest smiles, breasts or puritan values we’ll just share two hilarious images featuring the newly crowned Miss Universe.
