R.L. Stine’s ‘Goosebumps’ Bound For The Big Screen

R.L. Stine‘s hyper-successful ’90s horror books series Goosebumps is currently being bandied around Hollywood, with writer Darren Lemke (The Nutcracker, Shrek) tipped to adapt it for the silver screen.

For those not in the know, Goosebumps was the biggest thing in kid-world before Twilight, Harry Potter or YouTube. The books series has sold over 350 million copies worldwide, optioned for TV and also included the ‘Choose Your Own Adventure’ style Give Yourself Goosebumps, which allowed readers to determine the fate of the protagonist as if in a game. Colombia is currently working on the adaptation. More spooky news as it happens.
