Hollywood’s twerpiest man Quentin Tarantino has told Jay Leno, in between talking with his hands and laughing at his own jokes, that his next movie will be another Western flick – but don’t expect Django Unchained 2.
The Oscar winning writer/director/”actor” (his vocal performance in Django Unchained alone warrants the quotation marks) told Leno that “I haven’t told anyone this publicly, but I will say the genre: It’s a western. I had so much fun doing Django, and I love westerns so much that after I taught myself how to make one, it’s like OK! Let me make another one now that I know what I’m doing.”
Django Unchained scored Tarantino a Best Screenplay Oscar, and Christoph Waltz a nod for Best Supporting Actor, however Tarantino stressed that he wasn’t going to repeat his Kill Bill Vol. 1 and 2 double up with a second Django outing.
Quentin, you had my curiosity. Now you have my attention.
