It’s been a big day for Queer Eye‘s resident grooming don Jonathan Van Ness, who discovered he has been nominated for not one, but two Emmy Awards.
In footage posted online by Netflix‘s own Jarett Wieselman, Van Ness can be seen flipping out after discovering Queer Eye was nominated in the Structured Reality Program category, and that his Funny Or Die webseries Gay Of Thrones was nominated for Outstanding Short Form Variety Series.
Flanked by his Queer Eye fam Karamo Brown, Bobby Berk, Antoni Porowski, and Tan France, Van Ness essentially turns into an appreciative puddle. Bless his cotton socks.
JVN’s reaction to finding out #QueerEye AND #GayOfThrones scored Emmy noms this morning is too pure — and then there’s Tan, Antoni, Karmo, and Bobby’s reaction to his double nom 😭😭😭 pic.twitter.com/GnCVKJtTsw

Van Ness also took to Twitter to express his gratitude for the nominations.

It’s been a blockbuster year for the Queer Eye crew, and the show has been a phenomenal success worldwide.
In particular, Aussie audiences have been obsessed with the warmhearted and wholesome reality program, and their quick trip over to Yass, NSW only solidified the show’s bearhug on our hearts.
We’ll find out if Queer Eye walks away with the W when the 70th Primetime Emmy Awards go down on September 17.
