In the most recent instance of life imitating art imitating something someone once did to avoid legal issues in a bid to build a profitable drug empire, two Queensland men and women likely to have watched season one of Breaking Bad and thought, “that’s a good idea”, have been charged with multiple drug offences after police found an RV doubling as a mobile methamphetamine lab on a property in central Queensland yesterday.
Reports The Courier Mail: “A clandestine drug lab has been found in a caravan in central Queensland. The discovery of a methamphetamine lab was allegedly made when
police searched a property at The Narrows Rd, Mt Larcom, near Gladstone
about 7am yesterday. A 27-year-old West Gladstone man, a
54-year-old Mt Larcom man, and two Sun Valley women, both 18, have been
charged with a number of drug-related offences. The 27-year-old West Gladstone man will appear in Gladstone Magistrates Court today. The other three will appear at the Gladstone Magistrates Court on September 3.”
