Queen Of The Noughties Paris Hilton Is Back & Producing A Doco On Herself

OMG. OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG.
In truly fantastic news, total icon and queen of the noughties Paris Hilton is making a documentary.
“Woah”, you might say. “Perhaps DJ-ing in Ibiza wasn’t really bringing in that much dough?”
“Making a documentary sounds pretty mature and serious.”
Okay, valid points. Except this documentary IS OBVIOUSLY ABOUT HERSELF AND HOW EXCELLENT SHE IS. FOR REAL.
9.14 Pictures and XYZ Films announced the currently-untitled “unflinching” documentary at Cannes, saying it will peer into the life of the “businesswoman, entrepreneur and media icon”.
Directors Jon Argott & Sheena Joyce said this about their muse:

“Paris Hilton is a modern day-Marilyn Monroe — beautiful, iconized, world famous, shaped by mass media, and misunderstood.

We are thrilled to work with Paris to explore her complicated relationship with the public, the press, and the politics that shape our perception of a modern celebrity.”
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film “will see Hilton discuss the thing that “made” her famous, reflect on how the spotlight has contributed to the person she is and examine the impact her image has made on young women today.”
