And from what we’ve seen, it looks like the girl has done a fab job of not only assimilating into the fam but of fulfilling her royal duties.
But Queen Elizabeth‘s former press spokesman has taken issue with an American tradition that Markle recently exhibited and take a fkn hike, dude.
The shady character who goes by the extremely normal name of Dickie Arbiter dragged the Suits actress for hosting a bougie baby shower in New York City.
“Baby showers, it’s very much an American thing,” Arbiter told Us Weekly. “We don’t do it here in the U.K. It was a bit over the top in terms of expense and the way she got there.”

According to Vanity Fair, the entire occasion cost a whopping $200,000. The hotel suite alone reportedly cost $75,000 a night, and they hosted it at The Mark, which is apparently the most expensive hotel in the U.S.
But like, Meghan’s friends, including Serena Williams, footed the bill for the occasion so what the heck is this bloke whining about?
Meanwhile there’s a rumour banging around that a second “shower” would be hosted by Kate Middleton but as of now, no such occasion has reportedly been planned, which is some extremely awkward flex, innit?
