Pussycat Dolls Slam Sexist Comments After Trainwreck ‘Project’ Interview & Scandalised Mums

Contributor: PEDESTRIAN.TV

The Pussycat Dolls have spoken to PEDESTRIAN.TV about the sexist double standards women face in music, in light of *that* interview with The Project and *those* outraged mums following their Sunrise performance.

In case you need some updating, Nicole Scherzinger endured some pretty misguided questions by The Project panel a couple nights back, along the lines of, “Hey, did you fight with other women about boob tubes?” and “Did Nicole finally get boobies?” Yeah, it’s, uh, hard to watch. Then a whole heap of mums complained after The Pussycat Doll’s Sunrise performance, leaving theses on Sunrise’s Facebook page about how it was meant to be a ‘family show’ and blah blah blah.

Our queens have now clapped back at the stupid comments. “We get slack, but that’s because people are scared and they haven’t stepped into their own power,” Nicole tells PEDESTRIAN.TV in the video below. “Yes, we are wearing provocative clothes, but we’re women and it’s vulnerable and it takes courage – real courage – to be able to go out and be that athletic, be warrior-status and empower others.”

“You have that within yourselves [too], just remember that,” she added. “We come only with love, and we can’t wait to see y’all on tour.” We stan a professional, humble queen. Peep a portion of the chat below. More to come.
