Sometimes, we receive gifts that we do not wholly understand, but for which we are immensely grateful. The announcement of a fully-fledged Psych TV movie is one of those happy little presents.
Hell yeah, the blessed buddy-buddy show about a psychic detective and his long-suffering best mate will return for a two-hour flick this December, three years after the cult-hit show left the USA Network.
This December brings a true holiday miracle.

The channel has delivered some context behind that blessed announcement, too: mainstays James Roday and Dulé Hill will return to solve crimes and take the piss out of each other.
Steve Franks, the brains behind the original series’ impressive eight-season run, will return to direct the film. FWIW, Psych-os can expect to see the gang investigate a personal attack during the spesh – as if the show itself ending wasn’t enough of a heartbreaker.
While it’s debuting on the USA Network, y’all can watch this space to see how you can access it over here.
