Kim Kardashian and Kanye West welcomed their fourth child last week, and overnight, they couple revealed that they have called their new baby Psalm.
Kim shared a photo of the couple’s newborn son in an Instagram post earlier today, showing a screengrab of a conversation with her husband.
“Beautiful mother’s day,” he wrote. “With the arrival of our fourth child we are blessed beyond measure we have everything we need.”
Psalm was born via surrogate, and joins older sisters North West, aged five, and Chicago West, aged one, as well as older brother Saint West, aged three.
There seems to be a bit of a pattern with the West family baby names, with the girls getting geographical names and the boys religious ones.
The couple have said that they will likely stop at four children, as that is the ideal number fr them. A source who spoke to E! News recently revealed that:
“Kim and Kanye have known [they were having a boy] for awhile and are very excited. They had one male embryo left and are thrilled it has worked out. Kim always wanted four kids and having two boys and two girls feels perfect. They were very happy with the entire experience the first time and are so grateful to have one more baby.”
Congratulations, Kimye, and welcome new baby Psalm.
