A lot of people like to say that they don’t care about the royal family, that hereditary monarchies are an outdated institution, and that it’s all just silly fluff, but guys, we see the stuff that you click on, and it seems like a lot of actually care A WHOLE BUNCH about the royals. With that in mind, please enjoy this new birthday photo of your future ruler Prince George.
The image, which shows the highly photogenic prince sporting a cheeky smile, was taken in the garden of Clarence House after the christening of his baby brother Prince Louis on July 9. Photographer Matt Porteous, who captured the image, also took a photo of the youngster for his third birthday in 2016.
In a statement, Kensington Palace said: “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to share a new photograph of Prince George to mark His Royal Highness’s fifth birthday tomorrow.” One thing’s for sure, this charismatic youngster is definitely going to kill it when he is old enough to have his own Instagram (assuming that still exists in 20-whatever-that-would-be).
