The Pretty Little Liars Reboot Has Found Its Cast To Be Tormented By Yet Another A-sshole

pretty little liars reboot cast

It feels like Pretty Little Liars only left out lives a minute ago (it’s been four whole years of minutes, to be precise) and yet there’s a reboot already happening. We already told you about that part – which is still baffling to say the least – but now there’s been progress in the production: the reboot has a cast.

Back in July, Deadline reported that Chandler Kinney (Lethal Weapon series), Bailee Madison (The Fosters, Good Witch), and Maia Reficco (Kally’s Mashup) were lined up to star in the PLL reboot, called Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin, and now there’s more names to add to the locket in your pocket.

Now the site has reported that Zaria (Black-ish) and Malia Pyles (Baskets) will be joining the main cast as well. Zaria is locked in to play Faran, a ballerina with dreams to get the fuck out of town, while Pyles is set to play Minnie, the youngest of the Liars, who apparently “spends most of her time in a virtual world”.

By and large, that might be our four Liars all locked in and ready to be utterly tormented by faceless, shapeshifting, multiple-identity antagonists known only as “A”.

Original Sin is reportedly being created by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa (RiverdaleChilling Adventures of Sabrina) and is a fresh take on the story of the pretty little liars – all new storyline, all new cast, and hopefully not as many glaringly-obvious plot holes.

Apparently Original Sin takes place 20 years after the original PLL series, where a whole new set of Little Liars are suddenly targeted by an unknown Assailant, who’s dead-set on making them pay recompense for “the secret sin their parents committed two decades ago”.

God, A just can’t quit, huh. It is happening again.

Sure, we might not be in the truly cursed town of Rosewood anymore but it seems A knows how to travel, I guess.
