Prada Vs Final Fantasy For Arena Homme

To be fair, gamers aren’t known for their style (Triple XL meme tees? Discarded Mountain Dew cans? I dunno) but that hasn’t stopped Arena Homme from from pairing fashion with gaming to celebrate the 25th anniversary of time sucking RPG franchise Final Fantasy. Note: if you have to ask what RPG stands for you might as well stop reading now. Developed in conjunction with Square Enix, the shoot features Final Fantasy XIII-2 characters styled in asymmetric haircuts and CGI looks from Prada’s spring 2012 menswear collection, and, gee whiz, look at those cheekbones!

“Our Spring issue focuses on a world of direction and escapism, and having a visually stunning videogame franchise such as Final Fantasy work alongside us and a leading fashion brand like Prada to create something so unique is incredible,” said Arena Homme+ Editor Max Pearmain. “I’ve always been interested by the power of videogames and their place in society, and the amount of work that’s gone into this project blows my mind. We’re incredibly pleased with the result.”

Strangely, it’s the second time we’ve thought about Final Fantasy this week after we spied Sephiroth and Cloud chilling at Comic-Con Adelaide.
