At just 21 years of age Sasha Grey has carved out a lucrative career in, and is a prominent member of the American porn industry. In “The Girlfriend Experience”, she transitions from skin flicks to features by taking on the lead role of a high-end Manhattan call girl. Not too much of a stretch for Grey seeing as she knows what it’s like to have sex for money.
According to IMDB: ‘The Girlfriend Experience’ details five days in the life of an ultra high-end Manhattan call girl who thinks she has her life totally under control. She feels her future is secure because she runs her own business her own way, makes $2000 an hour, and has a devoted boyfriend who accepts her lifestyle. But when you’re in the business of meeting people, you never know who you’re going to meet.
The film is directed by Academy Award winner Steven Soderbergh (who knows a little something about sex and videotape) and will be out May 22nd.
