We regret to inform you that a fabulous era in vampire history has ended as the final episode of The Originals just aired in the U.S. and Aussie babe Phoebe Tonkin reckons attention needs to be paid.

Tonkin played Hayley Marshall in both The Vampire Diaries and the entire series run of its spinoff The Originals and was, imo, one of the most iconic characters of the saga.

Speaking to W magazine at the end of 2017, the actress spilled on what it was like filming the series finale.
“It was a very emotional goodbye,” she said. “I don’t think I’ve totally digested it.”
“It has been a really big opportunity for me, and I am so grateful for the last five years, but also really excited to see what is next.”

Her role in the show was obvs so near and dear to her that she’s taken to Instagram to share a bunch of never-before-seen pics that were taken over the course of the series.
