Petition For Leaf Expert Snoop To Narrate ‘Planet Earth’ Smashes 50k Goal

Let’s make one thing perfectly clear: David Attenborough is the G.O.A.T. For as long as that magnificent specimen stays at the helm of Planet Earth, he has the undivided support of the actual planet Earth.

Still, when those wondrous vocals fade from our lives, we’ll need a strong voice to fill that void. Confident, yet relaxed. Engaging, but never overbearing. Most of all, streaming out of the mouth of an internationally recognised lover of the animal (and plant) kingdom.

Thanks to a newly successful Change.org petition, that heir apparent has been identified: Mr. Snoop Dogg, who The People are calling to narrate an entire season of the show.

For all the doubters, cop his work with Jimmy Kimmel on the delightfully bootleggy Plizzanet Earth, and weep tears of unbridled joy:

At least one of the interested parties has voiced his approval, with the D-Oh-Double-G himself letting his internet neffews know he’s undeniably down for a stint as a nature narrator.

Kimmel has co-signed the push on Twitter too, leaving us wondering what exactly else is left to do but sign the bloody papers.

The BBC is yet to comment, but any reservations can surely be assuaged by several boardroom meetings / hotbox sessions.
As for Attenborough…

We rest our case.
