After weeks of speculation about just what the hell is going on between Pete Davidson and Kate Beckinsale, it appears that the two of them are dating, with multiple sources reporting that they were seen holding hands and leaving a comedy club in Los Angeles.
Why is this news? I dunno, why is anything news? If, in the dystopian hellscape of 2019, it brings you joy to learn that two people you will never meet held hands outside of a club you will never attend, then I say there’s nothing wrong with that and you should continue living your truth.
Anyway, let’s move on. According to Harper’s Bazaar, the pair were seen hand-in-hand as they left Largo at the Coronet in LA, where Pete Davidson had been performing a set. Photos show them gripping each-other tightly, so make of that what you want.
The dating rumors were first sparked back in January, when Davidson and Beckinsale were spotted “cuddling” at a Golden Globes after-party hosted by Netflix, and a source told Page Six that they eventually left the event together.
Neither Pete Davidson or Kate Beckinsale has commented on their rumoured new relationship, although she did recently post an Instagram pic of a commemorative wall clock depicting her ex Michael Sheen, so that’s … something? I have no idea.
Congratulations to the new possible love birds. I guess their couple name will either be ‘Pete’ or ‘Kate’ so now we can all take some time to think about that.
