Pete Davidson Returns To Internet After Dramatic Exit To Say “Fuck The Internet”

Almost two months after quitting social media as a result of the backlash he was copping, Pete Davidson has returned to the internet to say “Fuck the internet”.

Cool.

The soon-to-be hubby of singer Ariana Grande posted a video of paparazzi taking pics of him walking down the street as he says “Welcome home”.

His comeback was obvs for promo purposes as he captioned it: @nbcsnl back next week. fuck the internet tho…”, signifying his return to Saturday Night Live.

Unlike some celebs who wipe their Insta clean and then return e.g. Blake Lively, Davidson has not resurrected his previous pics that he removed in July including hot shots with his boo.

His initial exit announcement read:

“No there’s nothing wrong. No nothing happened. No there’s nothing cryptic about anything. I just don’t wanna be on Instagram anymore. Or on any social media platform. The internet is an evil place and it doesn’t make me feel good.”

“Why should I spend any time of negative energy when my real life is fucking lit. The fact that I even have to say this proves my point. I love you all and I’m sure I’ll be back at some point.”

After becoming engaged to Grande, Davidson was scrutinised by fans and critics of the singer and he did not cope well with the pressure at all.

He had major social media beef with Grande’s loyal followers, then comments he made about the bombing at his fiancée’s Manchester concert last year were dug up and resulted in a whole lotta hate aimed at the comedian.

It’s unknown if he’s back for good or if it’s a quick lil contractual promo vid as part of his agreement with SNL but all I can say as an Ariana stan is that I’m missing my view of our queen via her king’s lens.
