Over the weekend, Remy Ma unleashed a vicious 7-minute Nicki Minaj diss track unto the world, elevating their years-long speculated beef firmly into hip-hop canon.
‘Shether‘ took aim at Minaj’s breakup with Meek Mill, implied she uses a ghostwriter, accused her of getting butt implants, suggested she hooked up with Trey Songz, Lil Wayne, Gucci Mane and more, and takes aim at her brother, Jelani Maraj, who is facing charges of raping a 12-year-old girl.
“Talking ’bout bringing knives to a fight with guns / When the only shots you ever took was in your buns.”
And:
“And I got a few words for the moms of the young Barbz / Guess who supports a child molester? Nicki Minaj / You paid for your brother’s wedding? That’s hella foul / How you spending money to support a pedophile? / He a walking dead man, sending threats to him / I guess that’s why they call you Barbie, you was next to Ken / Talkin’ ‘bout your money long and your foreign sick / Why you ain’t help your bro hide his cum from forensics.”
And:
“Meek, Drake, Safaree, I see men in your pants,” “Yeah, you must think you Drake and I’m Twitter fingers,” “You claimed you never f—ed Drake, now that’s where you took me” and “Now all of a sudden you back with Drake and Tunechi?”
And:
“I saw Meek at All-Star; he told me your ass drop/He couldn’t fuck you for three months because your ass dropped/NowI don’t think you understand how bad her ass got/The implants that you had put in her ass popped.”
Their beef goes back a decade (read a run-down here), but until now it’d all been fairly underground. Just two days ago, two Nicki Minah collaborations dropped – ‘Make Love‘ with Gucci Mane and ‘Swalla‘ with Jason Derulo – in which it was only rumoured she dissed Remy Ma.
