Paris Hilton Terrified For Her Life In Cruel Plane Crash Prank

There are funny pranks and there are straight-up terrible ones, and convincing someone that they are about to plummet to their death in a plane falls on the more horrifying end of that particular spectrum.

This is what happened to Paris Hilton when, on a recent trip to Dubai, she found herself on a TV show called Ramez In Control, which appears to be an Egyptian version of Punk’d, about 12 years too late.
Actor and host Ramez Galal apparently offered the heiress a 15-minute tour of the city in a light plane, but mid-flight, the engines appeared to give out and alarms began sounding.
“What’s happening? Is this normal?” she asked, becoming increasingly terrified as the plane lost altitude, and screaming when passengers wearing parachutes began jumping from a cargo door.
Later, on the ground, Galal admitted that it was all a prank, apologising and telling Hilton “I’m a bad guy”. “I almost thought I was going to die,” she later said, crying. “That’s been my biggest fear my whole life, dying in a plane.”
Per The Huffington Post, Galal’s show has faced cancellation in Egypt due to the cruel nature of its pranks. It’s unknown whether he actually broadcast the below video, but he has aired similar ones in the past:
