Being blackout drunk is rarely a pretty sight, but Reddit user @copioustoast has proven to be the outlier.

@copioustoast shared a painting their best friend commissioned of them with their head in the toilet during a bar crawl.
“A year ago I got black-out drunk at a charity bar crawl,” they explained. “My best friend commissioned a painting of his favourite photo of me from that night.” The initial drunk snap had evidently been transformed into a Victorian-esque portrait, with the same left arm resting daintily across the bowl and those lips planted firmly on the seat.
“Lips on the seat tastes like defeat,” one user dutifully pointed out.

Above all else, @copioustoast’s best mate has been commended for being the friend we all inspire to be, as encapsulated by one user’s remark: “Your friend is a man of refined humour and excellent taste. I’d hang that in a place of prominence, it looks amazing.” Couldn’t agree more.
This Reddit post has subsequently proven that having your head in the toilet can eventuate in an artistic masterpiece worthy of being beside the Mona Lisa in the Louvre. Next time I accidentally consume 17 tequila shots, I hope to end up on the walls of MONA.
So please, I implore you, next time your mate has a bit too much to drink, take a happy snap of them and immortalise the memory in the form of tasteful art.
But seriously, remember to drink responsibly – blackout should be exclusively reserved for Britney Spears‘ 5th studio album.
