Outback Chills Return With Wolf Creek 2

Just when you thought it was safe to return to the Outback: Wolf Creek 2 has just commenced filming in South Australia. Director Greg Mclean (Rogue) will return for round two of the surprise blockbuster (by Australian standards), as will John Jarratt as sadistic larrikin, Mick Taylor.  No details about the sequel’s plot have been revealed but it’s safe to assume things are looking grim for co-stars Ryan Corr (Packed to the Rafters), Shannon Ashlyn (Puberty Blues, Devil’s Dust), and Philipe Klaus (Devil’s Dust, Rake). A friendly tip: don’t drink the water.

It’s really exciting to work with John Jarratt once more to delve
deeper into the fascinating character of Mick Taylor. We’ve assembled a
phenomenal cast and crew who are all working incredibly hard to deliver
an even more thrilling ride than the first movie. It’s bigger, badder
and should be a wild experience for audiences all over the world
,” Greg Mclean said.

With the original movie doing for polite country folk what Jaws did for sharks, it will be interesting to see if audiences are curious to delve deeper into the mind of a psychotic serial killer. Expect the all new lashing of ultra-violence to hit screens later in the year.
