To celebrate Billy Crystal’s ninth turn as Oscars host four of the most one-note personas in Hollywood – Robin Williams, Vinnie Jones, Josh Duhamel and Megan Fox – star in a meandering promotional video which provides little surprise and even fewer punchlines. Jones is a scowling caricature, Williams is over the top, and Fox and Duhamel are emotionless vessels searching the globe for host and humour. Spoiler: They only find one of those things! A perfect primer for the general apathy you’ll be feeling throughout the telecast.
The one thing we can compliment is their answer to this age old cinematic quandary (the suitcase is where Marsellus Wallace kept all his Oscars).
