One Direction’s Zayn Malik Is Engaged To Girl Whose Life Is Probably In Peril

One Direction‘s ethnic contingent and vertically-coiffed regulation hottie, Zayn Malik, is officially off the market. It has been confirmed by the mother of his betrothed, Perrie Edwards of X-Factor-manufactured girl group Little Mix, who said: “Yes, it’s true. They got engaged on Sunday and it’s absolutely lovely. It’s wonderful because Zayn is absolutely gorgeous and Perrie loves him to pieces. It’s just perfect and they get on so well together. It’s just fabulous.”

Since the news was confirmed, Zayn’s social media accounts have been engulfed in a tsunami of fan reactions, many of which are congratulatory words of support (“Awwwww you guys together are the cutest thing ever!!!!!”; “You guys are perfect ok, ok I support all your steps it’s your life”) and some less enthusiastic sentiments (i.e. “I’m so depressed because of the engagement”; “I’m so heartbroken you literally killed me”; “perrie is a FAKE and wears to [sic] much make up!!!!!”).

Best of luck to the happy couple, particularly Perrie. We’ve seen what happens when you fuck with One Direction fans.
