Norwegian Airlines Cashes In On Brangelina Drama In Hilarious Ad Campaign

The Brad PittAngelina Jolie breakup has officially entered the ugly tabloid allegations phase, with news breaking overnight that the FBI are investigating allegations of Pitt’s abusive behaviour.
The reason for their involvement is that the alleged fight between Pitt and one of his children took place on an aircraft, which means that the incident falls within the bureau’s special jurisdiction.
Speaking of the Jolie-Pitt drama and aircraft, that’s a nice little segue into today’s story, which sees Norwegian Airlines cashing in on the breakup in the most amusing possible way, in a series of newspaper ads.
The world may still be mourning for the former power couple, but Norwegian have taken a more pragmatic approach, slashing trans-Atlantic fares because Brad’s now back on the market.
The original ads, which ran in Norway, read ‘Brad er single’ – translation: ‘Brad is single’ – and offered discounted flights of $AU194 between Oslo and Los Angeles:

The droll advertisements have since run in other parts of the world, including Spain and the United Kingdom:

Someone’s definitely getting a nice fat bonus out of this. Well-played, Norwegian Airlines, well-played indeed.
