Armed with a one month enrollment at the National Institute of Dramatic Art (a thespian breeding ground which counts Cate Blanchett, Simon Baker, Sam Worthington and Toni Collette among its alumni) and a smallish role in Sofia Coppola’s forthcoming dramedy Somewhere, model, jewelery designer and former Make Me a Supermodel mentor Nicole Trunfio has temporarily abandoned the runway to focus on a burgeoning acting career.
Trunfio’s latest role is in the Eytan Rockaway directed thriller My First Time and despite a shortage of info on the film itself, a handful of NSFW screen shots have been unveiled online. Judging from the imagery alone, the transition from clotheshorse to silver-screen siren has been pretty damn seamless.
Says the synopsis: My First Time is a dramatic short about a mysterious girl named Jasmine’s (Nicole Trunfio) on a first date with Alex (Victoria Haynes). Jasmine has always had the curiosity, but never had the courage to pursue her inner desires…until now. When she meets Alex an experienced suitor, Jasmine immediately falls for her charm. But once they are alone together, Jasmine’s instincts come into play and their life is forever changed.
