I will absolutely die on the hill that Nicole Richie is an underrated comic actress – just check out Great News on Netflix if you don’t believe me.
That show sadly only lasted for two seasons, but now she’s having another crack at comedy with Nikki Fre$h, which is set to debut this week on the US streaming service Quibi.
Nikki Fre$h sees Richie embarking on a career as a conscious rapper, saving the bees and preaching the value of crystals and granola.
“Conscious trap is music for everybody. Teachers, rabbis, Virgos, but mostly moms and gays,” she says. You can go ahead and watch the trailer below:

Quibi is a mobile-only streaming service which launches in the US this week, and plans to have 7000 pieces of original short-form content available within its first year.
As well as this Nicole Richie series, there there are shows coming from big names like Idris Elba, Steven Spielberg, Guillermo del Toro and Chrissy Teigen.
While there is no confirmed Australian launch date as yet, Quibi would be mad not to come here at some point, especially since the original content means they won’t need to any licesing fees.
