True Aussie Hero Nicole Kidman Recalls The Time She Took On A Giant Spider

Nicole Kidman

A few months back, true blue Aussie legend Nicole Kidman saw one of her Instagram stories go viral after she captured a fuck-off giant spider beside the pool at her Los Angeles home, remaining cool as a cucumber as she dealt with the situation.

This week, the actress appeared on Graham Norton‘s show and recalled her moment of glory, telling him that it was actually pretty hard to keep the cursed creature contained, because it was so strong that it initially knocked the glass jar over.

Still, she showed no fear. “I’m Australian, I grew up with spiders, I released the spider,” she told the host. “I have to say, I’m one of those people who don’t kill anything.” You can check out the original video and Nicole Kidman’s commentary below:

Our Nicole has had a big year, starring in the dramas Destroyer and Boy Erased, and next year, she will be seen alongside Meryl Streep in the second season of HBO‘s Big Little Lies.

She’ll also appear as Queen Atlanna in the upcoming DC blockbuster Aquaman, and will star in an adaptation of Donna Tartt‘s novel The Goldfinch.

If that’s not enough, she has also signed on for another TV series, The Undoing, created by David E. Kelley of The Practice and Boston Legal and co-starring Hugh Grant.

Truly, what an amazing time to be Nicole Kidman.
