By now, all you Barbz and Ken Barbz out there would have heard of Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill’s split (Barbz/Ken Barbz is apparently what Minaj fans call themselves, and yes I did have to Google that twice because wtf?).

While sure, breakups suck, this was generally regarded as terrific news because Minaj is a goddamn Queen and, as we have now learned, Mill has displeased his Queen.
But as rude as it was, the reported cause of Minaj/Mill’s breakup over her birthday weekend last December still sounds rather (oof) pedestrian.
According to TMZ and an unidentified ‘source,’ the two:
“…weren’t getting along in Turks and Caicos, because he was hanging with friends and not paying attention to her.”“She went nuts on him, he got pissed and left the island without her, and she said, ‘Screw this,’ and ended the relationship. Just that simple.”
So there you have it. Mill’s was a bit of a jerk during Minaj’s birthday trip, caused, in TMZ’s words, a “nuclear fight”, and she dumped him.
In fairness, his actions weren’t quite as bad as those rumours of an affair would suggest, but they’re still not good, and certainly not good enough for her.
